A Warm and Official Welcome for New Year Visitors
On January 1, 2026, flight 0V8057 operated by VASCO, departing from Ho Chi Minh City, landed at Con Dao Airport. On board were 72 travelers, becoming the first visitors to arrive in Con Dao Special Zone (HCMC) on the very first day of the new year.
The atmosphere was calm, respectful, and welcomingreflecting Con Dao’s identity as a destination focused on sustainable tourism and meaningful travel experiences.
The first visitors of 2026 were welcomed by Mr. Le Hoang Hai, Secretary of the Con Dao Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Vice Chairman of the Con Dao People’s Committee, together with representatives from the Southern Airports Authority, Con Dao Airport, and VASCO Airlines.
