- National Park rules: gentle steps and low volume
- Beach access is only permitted with park rangers
- Toilets are available on the island
- Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

- The tour depends on weather, harbour permission and turtle activity
- Nesting is seen on about 98% of nights but cannot be guaranteed
- If the harbour closes, we will help reschedule the tour to the next available date

Beach Stargazing Experience
Far away from city lights, Bay Canh Island offers peaceful nights under a sky filled with stars. After the wildlife walk and turtle monitoring, guests can relax on the quiet beach, listen to the ocean waves, and enjoy one of the darkest night skies in Con Dao National Park.
Using stargazing apps, our guide can also help guests identify constellations, visible planets, and sometimes even the Milky Way during clear weather conditions

Yes. Solo travellers are very welcome to join the Con Dao Turtle Experience. The price per person depends on the final group size for that date, so if more guests join the same trip, the cost per person will be lower.

The final price is based on the number of guests actually joining the trip. If the group size changes before departure, the price per person may also change. We will always update you in advance if this happens.
The main turtle season in Con Dao generally runs from May to September, making these months a great time to join the Turtle Experience. Turtle nesting and hatching are natural events, so activity varies throughout the season.
The Con Dao Turtle Experience depends on harbour operations and weather conditions. If the Harbour Authority closes the harbour due to unsuitable conditions, we may move your trip to the following day or discuss the best alternative with you directly.
During the high turtle season, specially July and August, our success rate for seeing mother turtles nesting has historically been very high, at around 98%. Baby turtle releases also have a high success rate during the appropriate period, but depend on eggs hatching naturally at that time.
As this is a natural wildlife experience, turtle nesting, hatching and releases can never be fully guaranteed.
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. If possible, please share all the dates you are available during your stay in Con Dao. As the Turtle Experience Tour is limited to a small group, having flexible dates allows us to match you with other guests. The more guests join the tour, the lower the price per person.
Please bring lightweight, comfortable clothing, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, personal toiletries, a small towel, and any personal medication you may need. A light long-sleeved shirt and long trousers are also recommended for the evening. As you will be staying overnight on Bay Canh Island inside Con Dao National Park, facilities are basic, so we recommend packing light and bringing only what you need for one night. We provide tents, drinking water and snacks for the experience.
