ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It’s titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.

1. CANCELLATION AND REFUND

CANCELLATION

Please kindly inform us if you would like to cancel your bookings at least 24 hours prior to the dive trip for your deposit to be refunded

FORCE MAJEURE:

Strong winds: Base on wind forecast, we will inform you if the harbor MAY be close (due to strong winds) during the days you booked with us.

Harbor close: During the days with strong wind forecast, the Harbor Authority will inform if the harbor will be open at 7pm the day before (or sometimes at 7am of the day you booked).

We will keep you posted and if the harbor close, your deposit will be refunded.

If you choose to keep your deposit for the future booking, that is very cool. Thank you for loving us. 😊

Requirements

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives – contact us for more details.

If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Please note that when diving in Con Dao, we highly recommend divers to be covered via insurance for diving, and emergency evacuation due to the remoteness of the island and limited medical facilities. If this is not already covered by your travel insurance policy, we recommend DAN (Divers Alert Network) for their cover.

If the answer is YES to ANY of the questions, please print out the form and see a doctor BEFORE travelling to Con Dao. You must obtain medical certification that it is safe for you to dive. We cannot do this on the island. If your answers are all NO’s, that’s fine – we can complete the medical form when you get here.

Divers should not ascend to a high altitude within 12 hours of completing a single dive or 18 hours after doing multiple dives (whenever possible, wait 24 hours).
