ON CON DAO ISLAND
We meet all guests at the Tourist Pier at 7:45 AM on the morning of your trip.
Our team will be wearing Con Dao Dive Center rash guard making it easy to spot us at the pier. If you are unsure where to find us, send us a WhatsApp message the evening before and we will confirm the exact meeting spot.

What to bring:
- Swimwear worn under clothes
- Towel
- Sunscreen (reef-safe preferred)
- Any personal medications
- Seasickness tablets if needed
- Cash or card for payment if not yet settled
Snacks and drinking water are provided on board. We do not offer hotel pick-up because the town is small and the pier is easy to reach.

Margot
Role: PADI Instructor
Margot is a certified PADI Instructor known for her professionalism, patience, and friendly approach. She creates a calm and supportive environment, especially for first-time divers, ensuring every experience is both safe and enjoyable.
Danny Coldrey
Role: Owner
Danny Coldrey, owner of Con Dao Dive Center, is a passionate ocean advocate dedicated to protecting Vietnam’s marine life. With years of experience across Vietnam’s top dive destinations, he brings deep knowledge of local ecosystems and a strong commitment to sustainable, responsible diving.

Role: Dive Guide
Quang Anh, currently based in Phu Quoc, was genuinely surprised by how untouched and beautiful Con Dao is — far beyond what he had imagined. That experience inspired him to become part of Con Dao Dive Center and contribute to our mission of protecting Vietnam’s oceans.
OUR BOAT
We operate from a covered speedboat, compact enough to reach sites that larger dive boats cannot access, and stable enough for a comfortable ride in moderate conditions.
The boat departs from the Tourist Pier each morning and carries a maximum of 8 divers per trip, whether you are joining a fun dive, a Try Dive, or a Discover Scuba Diving. All equipment is loaded and secured before departure, with BCDs, tanks, and weight belts assigned to each diver at the pier.
OUR EQUIPMENT
Safety is at the core of everything we do at Con Dao Dive Center. All diving equipment is updated regularly and maintained daily to meet the highest safety standards for scuba diving, snorkeling, and free diving Con Dao activities.
We use Mares Rover Dive Center equipment and Coltri Sub 12L aluminum tanks, ensuring reliability and comfort for all divers. Our team is trained and certified through Mares LAB and Coltri Sub operator programs, guaranteeing correct handling and maintenance of all systems.
All equipment is supplied by Scuba Supply Vietnam, Vietnam’s leading provider of recreational diving and water sports equipment. As standard safety practice, every diver is issued a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) and audible signaling device.
With professional equipment, trained staff, and strict safety procedures, we ensure every dive and snorkeling experience around Con Dao’s coral reef systems is conducted with care, confidence, and responsibility.

OUR STORY
Con Dao Dive Center is a PADI Dive Center, providing diving and snorkeling, to all visitors to the island. We are a small independent company, created to meet the demand for a high level of service and professionalism in Scuba Diving. Operated by PADI professionals that have been diving the islands for over 8 years and with over 35 years of experience between them, we guarantee the highest standard of safety in diving and snorkeling experiences in Con Dao, Vietnam.
We pride ourselves on providing a unique diving and holiday experience for all visitors to Con Dao. Whether you are an experienced diver, beginner or just want to explore this stunning untouched island, we offer a safe, professional service with the personal touch. We can help and advise you get the most out of your stay and fully enjoy all that Con Dao has to offer, from its colourful history to trekking in the stunning evergreen forests, or where to find that “desert island” deserted beach – as well as diving, and full range of PADI Courses and snorkeling trips.
